A normal human being just goes through life being a slave of time, to wake up and chase after time.

Have you ever thought how it would be so cool to predict the future maybe not the next one year or the rest of your life? Just tomorrow, in the minutest things like the morning coffee, the awesome and unavoidable downers of the day. However, we can have the ability to change the outcome. To hasten the lovely things and happily avoid the downers(meaning sad or unpleasant things). Will it change the basic existence of time, diaries, and watches, and also the stock market would collapse? There would be a mass protest of the fortune tellers everywhere. One thing I would be sure of is everyone would be having a smile all the time. We are mostly sad because we could not control the events that happen in our lives, we just fall into the hands of fate like the ancient Greek society's ultimate belief in fate. Knowing the future would finally give us the driver’s seat in matters regarding our life, just tomorrow Father Time and Mother Future. It would make my day.

To have the ability to predict and control the future would be an awesome experience. I sense am asking too much then maybe just to know tomorrow would be equally awesome. To know what tomorrow would be like and what we would be, the people we will talk to, and simply the food we will eat, yeah that is metaphysical.

A normal human being just goes through life being a slave of time, to wake up and chase after time. To build our lives around the watch, to achieve the set goals within a specific time frame in order to certify it as a success. In polite terms we are time chasers in crude terms we are watch slaves. I bet so. If we can know how tomorrow will be like we would, avoid investments, people, or relationships that are doomed to fail in the long term. We would be futuristic humans.

Take this you would know tomorrow will rain, therefore you will definitely carry an umbrella. You will not depend on the weather man which is usually 90 % wrong. How comes there still take the pains to forecast the weather when it will change soon, that is a musing for another day. Back to my post, am working against time.

My list if I would be given the ability to know tomorrow…just superpowers. I would call myself fancy names like Timetron, rolexy or wakati (Kiswahili for Time). Then I would wear a really cool costume and always be there at the right time, because I know where I am supposed to be.

  1. I would invest in the most promising shares.

  2. I would know the exam questions and my results before exam day.

  3. I would put my time into relationships that will work.

  4. I will never be rained on by some abrupt weather change.

  5. I will be a betting master and place my bet on winning numbers and the lottery.(though I am not a gambler, I would do it once).

  6. I will avoid making wrong decisions.

  7. I will be a seriously futuristic person.

Give me tomorrow… now! I would say that this is not possible in reality. If it was possible it would change our whole existence or what it means to live life. There is the exciting element of not knowing what tomorrow would be like. The adrenaline rush in the knowledge that we are masters of our own future we can make our day awesome or destroy our day.

The unknowable future is in our hands. Hope gives us the energy to carry on, that things will be better in the future, to fail and try again until we get it right so Father time and Mother future keep doing your work but please be fair sometimes. We, humans work hard to be on time.
